Mark Michalak
President
Mark knows construction, the ins and outs of development and home building. He truly is an expert. Mountain Lakes started in 1992 when Mark developed Best Hill Meadows and Best Hill Ranch. From there he has built custom homes all over Northern Idaho and Eastern Washington. He has established relationships with home designers/architects, sub-contractors, lenders, real estate agents and friends throughout the community. He will walk you through the home building process, stay on budget and timeline and deliver a beautiful finished product all will be proud of.

Jason Snook
Project Manager
Jason, Mark’s son-in-law, retired from the Marine Corps as a Lieutenant Colonel and moved to Idaho in 2019 with his family. He was a CH-46 helicopter and MV-22 Osprey pilot who served in Iraq, Afghanistan, Japan, and the Presidential Helicopter Squadron (Marine One). With his military background, Jason is very goal and detail oriented. He will work tirelessly until the job is done professionally and fulfills all your expectations as your Project Manager.
